Visualise and measure surface effects on keratin fibres through XFluo® 3D technology

The protocol is based on :

  • 3D and 4K imaging of the fibre surface,
  • the calculation of roughness parameters, before and after application.
This approach enables a comparative and objective assessment of coating, smoothing, protective, and restorative effects, particularly on short and exposed fibres such as eyelashes and beard hair, which are highly sensitive to mechanical and environmental stressors.
