XPolar® technology enables the observation of structural modifications in dermal collagen induced by ageing, glycation, or UV exposure.

This approach is based on birefringence analysis and the calculation of the K-index, providing a comparative interpretation of the impact of formulations on dermal structure, and delivering objective evidence to substantiate anti-ageing claims.

PREDICTIVE ANTI-SAGGING / FIRMING through XPolar® technology

Detect early signs of dermal sagging.

Through a detailed analysis of the organisation and orientation of collagen fibres, XPolar® technology, combined with the calculation of the Ksagg index, highlights progressive sagging within the collagen network.

This structural interpretation makes it possible to objectively assess, as early as 7 days, the impact of formulations on the mechanisms underlying skin sagging.

HYDRATION through XFluo® technology

A different way to assess skin hydration.

With XFluo®, the assessment of hydration is no longer limited to simple conductance variations.

The technology enables the analysis of corneocyte morphology, their cohesion and distribution, as well as the quality of the superficial stratum corneum. These parameters provide an in-depth understanding of skin barrier status and allow for the objective evaluation of the real impact of moisturising formulations on skin structure.
